« Death means a lot of money, honey. Death can really make you look like a star. But then it could be all wrong, because if your make-up isn’t right when you’re dead, you won’t look really right. And so I mean how can you look, I mean everybody always when they go to see an open casket, they always stay ‘Did you see that make-up ? I mean, isn’t it wonderful, God. I mean didn’t they do the right things ?’ They always talk about it. They either talk about the flowers, or mostly they really talk about the make-up. And if you’re a star, they usually have you at Campbell’s and they have a few days to look you over. I waited in line for I think the Judy Garland; oh, let’s not talk about that. »

« La mort, ça signifie beaucoup d'argent, mon chou. La mort peut vraiment vous donner l'aspect d'une star. Et ainsi je pense que tout un chacun, chaque fois qu'il va voir un cercueil ouvert, en reste toujours là : « avez-vous vu ce maquillage ? Je pense qu'il est merveilleux, vraiment, je pense qu'ils ont vraiment fait ce qu'il fallait ». Ils parlent toujours de cela. Ils parlent également des fleurs, ou essentiellement du maquillage. Et si vous êtes une star, ils vous ont habituellement chez Campbell's et ils ont quelques jours pour vous voir. J'ai fait la queue pour Judy Garland, je crois; oh ne parlons pas de ça. »
